SINGER-SONGWRITER SCOTT LIPPINCOTT
FEATURED ARTIST ON THE FILM MUSIC CHANNEL’S “SOUND AND SOURCE”

October, 2001 — New Jersey Singer-Songwriter, Scott Lippincott and his music will be featured on the Film Music Channel’s “Sound and Source” in an interview with host Leslie Waller, beginning October 29th.  Waller spends time with Lippincott in an intimate 30-minute visit that includes a selection of songs from his current music catalog, including: Deep In My Heart, Allison’s Room, Together Alone and Everything Runs Together.  Scott Lippincott creates music as a nostalgic alchemist with sensitivity and grace,” Waller reflects. “He has a prolific edge over typical songwriters.”

Enjoy a candid and inspirational snapshot of this rising musician and his music as Waller touches on life on his family’s 100-year-old farm where Lippincott writes and records his music in the contemporary studio he built within a converted horse barn; the importance he puts on songwriting; and, his aspiration to contribute timeless songs and work side-by-side with directors, producers and music supervisors of vision.  “The emotions [Scott] delivers with his music makes it a natural match for film projects including collaborations with filmmakers, and I expect to see great things from this talented performer," says Mark Northam, co-creator (with Waller) of “Sound and Source” and co-founder of the Film Music Channel.  “Scott’s rich harmonies and unforgettable melodies have not gone unnoticed by the industry, and I'm sure many more people will be enjoying his music for years to come,” adds Waller.
