Scott
Lippincott is a singer-songwriter from Jobstown, New Jersey whose unique brand
of studio alternative pop and distinctive style of musicianship, delivers
unforgettable hooks, harmonies and choruses that craftily etch themselves in
your mind to be enjoyed well after the music has finished playing.

“Scott Lippincott’s music is a breathtakingly fresh take… “simple,
melodic and straightforward…worth keeping an eye on” "Even if
rock weren't suffering from a malaise of weak songwriting, the excellence of
Lippincott's music would stand out. His arrangements are both classic and
creative... brilliant, and Lippincott has one of those irresistible voices that
were just made for pop music. ...this music embodies the very best of our
pop-rock tradition. It's a real treat for the ears." “...radio friendly…I like what
I hear.” “...ear
candy for the music connoisseur…” “Scott Lippincott is a tremendous
songwriter… “I
have to hand it to Scott for writing lyrics that worked really well. The guitar
work is subtle and perfect. The music itself is toe tapping and just plain feels
good. The piece is played spot on. I can't think of anything I wish was
different... he really impressed me...” |

Scott
hooked up with his New Jersey cohorts, bassist Matt Twers and drummer John
Lewandowski, five years ago, working the original and cover band circuit for the
club and college markets throughout the Jersey Shore, Philadelphia, New York,
and all points in between. Their
last project, The Karma Factory, produced Going Places in 1997 and a
self-titled CD in 1998. The
recordings showcased his instrumental dexterity on keys, bass, acoustic and
electric guitars. His original
songs helped them develop a comfortable and solid area fan base, and received
positive reviews and airplay from numerous local radio stations. For the past several months Scott has been perfecting his
live performance and characteristic musical artistry, skillfully spinning his
own brand of pure musical gold, with songs as engaging and timeless as the
influences he draws from. |
